Recording at EastWest Studios Studio Three was a truly inspiring experience. Although it is the smallest of EastWest's studios, it is arguably the most famous. The room's design has been copied by recording studios around the world, yet only Studio Three retains the unique acoustics and character that helped shape some of popular music's most enduring recordings. The Mamas & The Papas recorded classics such as "California Dreamin'" and "Monday, Monday" here, as well as Scott McKenzie's "San Francisco." Most notably, The Beach Boys created their groundbreaking 1966 masterpiece Pet Sounds in this room, while Dolly Parton later recorded "9 to 5" within these same walls. Making the experience even more special, I had the privilege of recording on Frank Sinatra's personal Steinway piano, connecting my session to a remarkable legacy of musical history and artistry.
